Long time ago, in a little village, little girl with her mother was named Little Red Riding Hood. She was sweetest and cutest child in the whole town. Particularly a wicked old wolf had often watched her and thought she looked good enough to eat. One day, Little Red Riding Hood's mother said that she took the basket of bread and goodies to her grandmother as she was ill these days and could not cook for herself." Her mother strictly instructed her not to talk to any stranger on the way. The wicked old wolf was hiding behind the bushes. He was listening to all the conversation carefully. He planned to reach granny's cottage before Little Red Riding Hood could reach.The wolf reached her granny's cottage and managed to enter inside. He frightened the old lady and pulled her in a dark room. Soon the door bell rang, the old wolf opened the door and welcomed Red riding hood. The girl was quite surprised to see her grand ma covered in a shawl she also found her granny’s voice a little different so she asked her ‘Are you ok Grand ma’? The wolf replied ‘yes my dear’.She gave the basket of goodies to her. The wolf thanked and asked her to come closer. but she felt something different with her grandma and asked wolf questions about the big ear, big teeth and she knew that it was not her grandma. She turned around and ran out of the cottage. A forester passing by heard her cry and came near the cottage. She told him about the wicked wolf.
The forester entered the cottage to kill the wolf. He was lucky that the wolf was busy in removing the clothes. Without wasting any time he killed the wolf with the hammer. Then they both brought the grand ma out of the dark room. The girl explained the whole incident to her grand ma. The grand ma kissed the little girl and took her inside the cottage.

W7 : Insomnia

Today, the economic is continuously developing and improving, sadly people are having

 difficult with sleeping. They do not have enough time to sleep. They get more trouble in their life by

having lack of sleep. This is problem is known as insomnia. Twenty five percent of adults and 50% of

senior citizens have insomnia problem. As insomnia is so prevalent in the world, it isn't surprising that

social scientist are learning more about it cause they have found that insomnia can result from

medications, environmental factors, and significant stress.

            Although people are thinking that insomnia is neither serious nor hard to cure, so they do not

care about it or know how to cure it. In the first cause, people have problem of health such as asthma,

depression, and cancer. They cannot have good sleep like normal people. So they take medications that 

can help them cure their patient, on the other hand it effect to their sleep. Dr. Genevieve Belleville said

“ These medications are not candy, and taking them is far from harmless”. So they do not take too

much medications and find another ways to cure it.

            On the other hand, insomnia is one of the most crucial effect to their health. If people have          

insomnia, they will change their customs such as meals times, wake up, so it will effect exactly on their

health. They cannot eat and sleep on time.  Later, they have signs such as weight gain or weight lost,

high blood pressure, or heart disease. They have to know early how their health is effected  by

insomnia. It will  help them protect their health and make them to overcome insomnia.

            Not only medications but also environmental factors are the crucial cause of insomnia. When

they move houses or live near noisy streets, they will feel uncomfortable, so they will have lack of

sleep. On the other hand, they work with the changeable schedule, it cannot  make them difficult to

sleep. Specially, they sleep with uncomfortable temperature which makes them wake up early and have    

trouble going back to sleep. They have to find good environments to have good sleep, so environmental

factors effect importantly to have good sleep.

             However, the health effects of insomnia can impair their daily life and lose their friends,

family, and jobs. If they get insomnia, they will have irritability. It makes them easy to lose friend

family. Specially, when they do not sleep enough, they will have memory loss. It effects  their  job and 

relationship, because they do not do good jobs or remember important days of their family.  

Moreover, insomnia makes them lower self-esteem, they will have veins in their eyes, dark circle under

their eyes. As a result insomnia effects other issue dues.

             In addition some medications and environmental factors, significant life stress is the last cause.

People from all over the world, they almost have problems their jobs, life and family. They will

get stress and be unable to  sleep when they have to  solve problems before sleeping. Sometimes, they

lose their jobs and think about their future. They  will have a strong headache.  This is a list of reason

that can cause by having insomnia. Significant life stress is most effect their sleep.

              While they  being insomnia has more negative consequences, it makes their life decrease than

people than people who do not have insomnia. They do not have smooth mind, energy to do job, or

think about their family. According to the National Center on Sleep Disorders Research, vast number of

Americans report suffering from one or more nights of insomnia during any given year, but can

insomnia get so bad that you actually die from it? (2010). when they get insomnia a long time, they don

not have energy or smooth mind. Then, they will neither feel good nor do something for them. Finally,

they will go to death. Some people think that insomnia is not serious, and they do not see doctor. Until

they get more insomnia.

              To sum up, insomnia's cause is some medications, environmental factors, and significant life

stress. If people have problems  health, they will not have good sleep because of medications. On

the other hand, the environmental factors around them can cause insomnia. In addition, people have

problems their family, job, and money which effect to their sleep. Some people over come

Saving time

Shmul was on his way to the market and he saw his best friend Bein on the street. He called his friend kindly, but his friend, Bein, replied without missing the beat. Shmul was so angry and cried ask Bein why Bein was so impolite to him. Then Bein tried to explain for him why he answered like that. Because he wanted to save time and knew what Shmul wanted to said. So Bein only answered the last sentence. Shmul wanted to tell Bein the baths on Avenue A are preferable, but Bein thought that the baths on Seventh Street better. So Bein said " go to blaze" which answer made Shmul feel not good, now Shmul understood the answer was not impolite.

Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary
She was a witch and lived in the forest. People in the town had a lot of terrible things, they thought that it was made by her. Then a little girl in the town was disappear one by one, but they didn't  know where little girls went. They saw witch more young and beautiful without reasons. One night, a daughter of miller rose went outside at mid-night, her parent and all people in town followed her. Now, they knew everything made by that witch. One man held the gun and shot at her. They carried her to huge bonfire and burned at the stake. They found the unmarked graves of the little girls the evil witch had murdered in her house. So they called her bloody Mary .

Kids always hate witch when they heard folklore.

When people have more trouble things, they will be haggard, because they think too much.

I don't talk with a suspicious person.

Anitsutsa -- The Boys

A long time ago, the story told that 7 boys spent all their time to play game. It called Chunkey which used the gatau'sti stone and pole. Their mother scolded them and didn't want then to play it. One day, the mothers collected some gatau'sti stone to cook with corn for dinner. Then, they said their son liked playing gatau'sti than working, so they should take stone for dinner. The boys were so angry and went down to townhouse. They want to go where didn't have their mom. They started Feather dance which went around and round with their wishes. Later, their mom saw their sons's feet which were higher and higher ain the air. They ran to catch them, but it was too late. One of their mom, she used the gatayu'sti pole to pull her son, but he sank into yhe ground and the earth close over him. The other six want to in the sky, where we saw them now as the Pleiades, which the Cherokee call Anitsutsa., but the mother which her son gone into the ground came every morning and evening to cry over the spot. At least, a small tree grew up and became the tall tree called the pine.

Why the owl has a spotted coat

The owl had a girlfriend, he loved her so much. At that tme, he had to meet her parents. He knew that he was ugly and didn't want her parents to see his face. He thought the ways to hide his face when he met them, because he was afraid that they didn't let him marry her. At the important meeting, he had plant when he came house, he would stand in the shadow, they didn't see his face. Her parents liked him, but they didn't know why he oly stood in the shadow. Her mischievous brothers had plant which could find the reason. Next day, her brother went to collect the wood which can used for 3 days. That night, the owl came and moved in the shadow. Then, her mother called her brothers to get the wood for fire, they put all the wood , so it made fire more bigger. The owl praise the wing to hide his face and turned the back. So his back get burned . That is why today the owl has a spotted coat.

The talking Mule

Longtime ago, a farmer had a mule, and he used the mule for working all week. He promised the mule that het let the mule rest on Sunday. One Sunday, the farmer must have to go a funeral, so the mule should work on that day. He put his son on back of the mule. His son jumped and ran to house. He shouted that the mule was talking and didn’t want to work on Sunday. He didn’t believe and he asked the dog. The dog didn’t think and hear that the mule talked. So he jump and sat on the back of the mule. Suddenly, he jumped and ran fast his house. He closed the door strongly and talked to his wife that the mule talked. The wife thought that it was crazy when the mule talked. His wife asked the cat about this.
