Today, the economic is continuously developing and improving, sadly people are having
difficult with sleeping. They do not have enough time to sleep. They get more trouble in their life by
having lack of sleep. This is problem is known as insomnia. Twenty five percent of adults and 50% of
senior citizens have insomnia problem. As insomnia is so prevalent in the world, it isn't surprising that
social scientist are learning more about it cause they have found that insomnia can result from
medications, environmental factors, and significant stress.
Although people are thinking that insomnia is neither serious nor hard to cure, so they do not
care about it or know how to cure it. In the first cause, people have problem of health such as asthma,
depression, and cancer. They cannot have good sleep like normal people. So they take medications that
can help them cure their patient, on the other hand it effect to their sleep. Dr. Genevieve Belleville said
“ These medications are not candy, and taking them is far from harmless”. So they do not take too
much medications and find another ways to cure it.
On the other hand, insomnia is one of the most crucial effect to their health. If people have
insomnia, they will change their customs such as meals times, wake up, so it will effect exactly on their
health. They cannot eat and sleep on time. Later, they have signs such as weight gain or weight lost,
high blood pressure, or heart disease. They have to know early how their health is effected by
insomnia. It will help them protect their health and make them to overcome insomnia.
Not only medications but also environmental factors are the crucial cause of insomnia. When
they move houses or live near noisy streets, they will feel uncomfortable, so they will have lack of
sleep. On the other hand, they work with the changeable schedule, it cannot make them difficult to
sleep. Specially, they sleep with uncomfortable temperature which makes them wake up early and have
trouble going back to sleep. They have to find good environments to have good sleep, so environmental
factors effect importantly to have good sleep.
However, the health effects of insomnia can impair their daily life and lose their friends,
family, and jobs. If they get insomnia, they will have irritability. It makes them easy to lose friend
family. Specially, when they do not sleep enough, they will have memory loss. It effects their job and
relationship, because they do not do good jobs or remember important days of their family.
Moreover, insomnia makes them lower self-esteem, they will have veins in their eyes, dark circle under
their eyes. As a result insomnia effects other issue dues.
In addition some medications and environmental factors, significant life stress is the last cause.
People from all over the world, they almost have problems their jobs, life and family. They will
get stress and be unable to sleep when they have to solve problems before sleeping. Sometimes, they
lose their jobs and think about their future. They will have a strong headache. This is a list of reason
that can cause by having insomnia. Significant life stress is most effect their sleep.
While they being insomnia has more negative consequences, it makes their life decrease than
people than people who do not have insomnia. They do not have smooth mind, energy to do job, or
think about their family. According to the National Center on Sleep Disorders Research, vast number of
Americans report suffering from one or more nights of insomnia during any given year, but can
insomnia get so bad that you actually die from it? (2010). when they get insomnia a long time, they don
not have energy or smooth mind. Then, they will neither feel good nor do something for them. Finally,
they will go to death. Some people think that insomnia is not serious, and they do not see doctor. Until
they get more insomnia.
To sum up, insomnia's cause is some medications, environmental factors, and significant life
stress. If people have problems health, they will not have good sleep because of medications. On
the other hand, the environmental factors around them can cause insomnia. In addition, people have
problems their family, job, and money which effect to their sleep. Some people over come
