Why the owl has a spotted coat

The owl had a girlfriend, he loved her so much. At that tme, he had to meet her parents. He knew that he was ugly and didn't want her parents to see his face. He thought the ways to hide his face when he met them, because he was afraid that they didn't let him marry her. At the important meeting, he had plant when he came house, he would stand in the shadow, they didn't see his face. Her parents liked him, but they didn't know why he oly stood in the shadow. Her mischievous brothers had plant which could find the reason. Next day, her brother went to collect the wood which can used for 3 days. That night, the owl came and moved in the shadow. Then, her mother called her brothers to get the wood for fire, they put all the wood , so it made fire more bigger. The owl praise the wing to hide his face and turned the back. So his back get burned . That is why today the owl has a spotted coat.

She is so sad because her son is so mischievous.
2) hickory(noun) : American hard wood tree bearing edible nuts.
a lot of people like hickory trees.
3) spark( noun): a momentary flash of light

I like to go camping, because I can see the spark of fire camping.
4) shield : ( adj.) protect, hide or conceal from danger 
Synonym: screen, hide
When she is shy, she will shield her red face.
5) spotted: ( adj.) having spots or patches
Synonym: patched
The field spotted with ice and snow.
